Procedure documentation Displaying User-Specific Information in the Status Bar Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the right-hand corner of the status bar, you can display user-specific information. For example, while you process transactions for a certain vendor, place the name and the telephone number of that vendor’s contact person in the status bar. Next time, when you open that window, the relevant fields will appear in the status bar.

Procedure

Dragging Information to the Status Bar

To place user-specific information in the status bar:

       1.      Open a window that contains fields you want to display in the status bar. For example, Business Partner Master Data.

       2.      Position the cursor on the required field, and drag that field to the left-hand corner of the status bar. For example, you can display the contact person’s name and telephone number in that area.

Note

You can display only four fields in the status bar.

Use this procedure to replace information in the status bar by dragging and dropping new fields to that area. The information is replaced by the new one.

Note

To delete the user-specific information from the status bar, press Alt and choose the field you want to delete.
