Component documentation Administration Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

To prepare SAP Business One for use at your company, first define information about your company in the system using the Administration module. Such information includes currency exchange rates, authorizations and approvals, the internal mail organization, e-mail and SMS settings, data import and export functions, and much more. Use this module to specify the system setup and system parameters, as well as to perform regular maintenance functions such as backup and restore. Any updates in company and user information are also entered in this module.

Since changes in the Administration module are not logged by the system, you must ensure that changes to user master data or table settings are logged outside the SAP Business One system. To log these changes, create screenshots with the time and the user. To create a screenshot of the relevant table, choose Data® Print Preview in the table. These screenshots can be sent using internal mail, or by e-mail to other users.
