Use

Filters enable you to search and display specific information in SAP Business One. For example, when there are many rows in a table, filters narrow the display to required data. Therefore, you can customize your tables to display only those records that interest you.

Various filter rules are available. For more information, see the table below.

By default, SAP Business One saves the last filter on both the Filter Table and the form itself. Next time you open the form, it appears filtered. However, you can cancel this feature.

It is not possible to filter tables with the Expand/Collapse option. In addition, you cannot filter tables in marketing documents.

Filter Rules

Filter Value

Description

Equal

Displays all rows with records that equals the value in the Value field.

Not Equal

Displays all rows with records that do not equal the value in the Value field.

In Range

Displays all rows with records that are in the range with the values in the Value and To Value fields.

Out of Range

Displays all rows with records that are out of the range of the values in the Value and To Value fields..

Greater than

Displays all rows with records that are greater than the value in the Value field.

Greater or Equal

Displays all rows with records that are greater or equal to the value in the Value field.

Smaller than

Displays all rows with records that are smaller than the value in the Value field.

Smaller or Equal

Displays all rows with records that are smaller or equal to the one in the Value field.

Is Empty

Displays all rows that do not contain any record.

Is Not Empty

Displays all rows which contain some records.
