Support |
Support is as for the role, for example, EP-PCT-MAN-MT |
You can display user and system statuses and, if required, set user statuses for pieces of equipment and maintenance/service notifications or orders and for inspection lots and quality notifications.
· System statuses are set automatically by the system when notifications or orders are saved or when pieces of equipment are installed or dismantled.
· User statuses are set by the user. There is a difference between user statuses with a status number and those without.
If user statuses have a status number, the system checks the sequence in which the statuses are allowed to be set. You define if and how a status can be set in Customizing using the status profile.
If a user status does not have a status number, the status can always be set.
Notifications and orders
You have defined the user statuses in Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service under Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service → Basic Settings → Define User Status.
You have assigned a status profile to the notification in Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service under Maintenance and Service Processing → Maintenance and Service Notifications → Overview of Notification Type.
Equipment
You have assigned a status profile to the equipment. To do this, choose with the quick info text Status in the equipment.
You have defined a status profile and assigned a notification type or inspection type in Customizing for Quality Management. You make these settings by choosing Quality Notifications → Notification Processing → Status Management and Quality Notifications → Overview of Notification Type or Quality Inspection → Inspection Lot Creation → Maintain Inspection Types.
