You can display logs for monitoring business objects and processes in Payment Engine.
If you want to display a log entry that is related to a concrete object or an object-related event, for example, the reconciliation date of a payment order has increased, you use the functional log. Otherwise, you use the technical log.
You have defined the settings for functional logging in Customizing for Payment Engine under

.You can use the following functions for logging:
Functional log
Records messages about business objects, such as payment orders, payment items, and collectors, and events related to these objects in the business application log (BAL).
Technical log
Records messages about technical processes, for example, accrual, collection of payment items, and end-of-day processing, in the business application log (BAL).
Message search for functional log and technical log
Searches for messages in the technical log and the functional log that the system records in the business application log (BAL).

To display the technical log, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
(transaction /PE1/TECHLOG).To display the functional log, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
(transaction /PE1/SHOW_FUNC_LOG).To search for messages in the technical log and the functional log, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
(transaction /PE1/LOG_SEARCH_MSG).To manage the settings of the technical log and the functional log, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
