PI (Process Integration) 

Purpose

The purpose of this configuration information is to describe the configuration steps required to set up SAP NetWeaver PI within a system landscape that has already been installed using the corresponding Master Guide.

Introduction

The configuration description for PI covers the following configuration steps:

·        Wizard-based basic configuration

·        Optional additional configuration

·        Configuration of communication and security

·        Configuration of high availability

·        Configuration of business systems that contain an Integration Engine

·        Configuration of business system integration

·        Configuration of central monitoring

In addition, it provides an overview of the parameters contained in the exchange profile.

Intended Audience

The configuration information is intended to be used by both consultants and administrators.

Required Users and Roles

You need the SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role and the DDIC user.
