Software Prerequisites
As a Microsoft Office based solution from SAP, the GWM Excel add-in requires components from both Microsoft and SAP.
The following are the SAP components required before you install and use GWM Excel add-in:
- Download to your file system, the GWM Excel add-in installation file, located on
SAP Service Marketplace at: http://service.sap.com/swdc

. - SAP Gateway system:
You can connect to SAP Gateway. Your user credentials must have the proper privileges to access the OData services you require in the SAP Gateway system.

- An SAP ERP system (with Business Suite), and with the corresponding SAP Gateway package (Backend Event Publisher – IW_BEP) installed.
- Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.0 or higher

- Microsoft Office 2010 SP1 or higher, or Microsoft Office 2013
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime
