This section describes the technical configuration that is required to integrate an Enterprise Search system in a customer's system landscape.
Connecting Search Providers to Enterprise Search
This section describes the steps necessary to connect different types of search providers to the Enterprise Search system and to allow Enterprise Search to return search results from these providers.
Prerequisites
Read Introducing Enterprise Search. This document contains an overview of Enterprise Search, its architecture, and the general concepts underlying Enterprise Search. In addition, the overview contains the naming conventions used in the Enterprise Search documentation and a list of the configuration tools and administration tools available for Enterprise Search.
