Use this wizard to configure the basic settings required for connecting SAP CRM and SAP ERP.

For up-to-date information, read SAP Note 1178800.

Procedure

Automatic Configuration

To carry out the wizard-based configuration steps required for your SAP system, use the wizard-based configuration tool. To access the wizard you have the following options:

  • Access via SAP Solution Manager. For more information, see   www.sap.com   SAP Solution Manager   SAP Solution Manager 7.0 English   Basic Settings   Automated Technical Configuration of SAP Systems  .

  • Access via SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

    1. Start the wizard-based configuration tool. For more information, seeConfiguration Wizard.

    2. Under Show, choose All Configuration Tasks.

    3. Select BS — Maintain Scenario: CRM and ERP Integration and choose Start.

    4. If required, enter the necessary data and choose Next.

      A list of the steps to be executed by the wizard is displayed under Details. The steps are executed one after the other. The system makes the necessary settings and reports any configuration errors. Error message long texts are written to the log.

Mandatory Manual Configuration

Since one mandatory configuration step is not yet supported by the wizard, an error message appears and prompts you to maintain the configuration step manually. To perform the step manually, follow the link below:
