The task execution user interface (task execution UI) is part of the process desk. It provides information and functions about the task and the process. It provides a user interface for the task, for example to complete the task

The following picture shows the layout of the process desk's task execution UI:

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Task title

In addition to the task title, the following task details are given: start date and time, owner, status, priority, and the process that includes the task.

Note Note

End of the note.

The process name which is shown here in the task execution UI as a link is the process title of the running process flow. It can differ from the general process name. For example, the process name is 'Leave Request', the process title of the running process is 'Leave Request Ben Holiday'. The process title of the running process can have variables, like 'Ben Holiday.'

To display the process flow in the process visualization click this process name link.

For more information, see Displaying Processes in a Graphical Representation.

The toolbar provides several actions on tasks such as delegate and revoke. An administrator of the task can also suspend, resume, and cancel the task. The Actions pushbutton includes the administrator's actions. With the Notes and Attachments links you can open the corresponding pane.

Note Note

The Delegate, Revoke and Close pushbuttons may not be visible depending on how the process administrator configures their visibility in NWA.
