Use

SAP NetWeaver Portal is supplied with a number of functions for extended supportability. These functions are intended for use by administrator users and support specialists.

This section describes the different support tools available:

  • Monitoring

    Describes how to monitor different aspects of the portal, using SAP NetWeaver Administrator Java monitors and the Computer Center Management System (CCMS).

  • Activity Reporting

    Describes how to create portal usage reports, using the portal activity report and the activity data collector.

  • Logging and Tracing

    Describes how to view log and trace files for the portal, and how to log changes made to objects in the PCD.

  • Troubleshooting

    Describes how to locate the available support tools and how to set up a connection that enables remote support.
