Modifying Config Framework Service PropertiesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

AS Java is running.

You have administrative permissions for the system on which AS Java is running.

Context

Config Framework Service (service component name: tc~km~config~srv ) is an SAP NetWeaver Application Server for Java (AS Java) service that implements the service start and stop methods and manages the access to the configuration framework of Knowledge Management (KM). You can use SAP NetWeaver Administrator to change the online modifiable properties of the service.

Procedure

  1. Start SAP NetWeaver Administrator. For more information, see SAP NetWeaver Administrator .
  2. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, choose Start of the navigation path Configuration Next navigation step Infrastructure Next navigation step Java System Properties End of the navigation path.
  3. Choose Services , and then filter for tc~km~config~srv .
  4. Select the Config Framework Service service.

    The Extended Details pane lists all the properties and their corresponding values.

  5. Change the value of the following properties according to the requirements of your scenario and save your entries:

    • dtd.check

      This property manages the activation of the DTD validation. If the value is false , the DTD validation is deactivated. The default value is true .

    • events.on.upgrade

      This property handles the events during an upgrade of the system. If the value is false , the events are suspended. The default value is true .

      Note

      The custom value has priority over the default one.
