Monitoring XML Messages
Using the SXMB_MONI transaction you can monitor the processing of messages on the local Integration Engine. You can use message monitoring to do the following:

Monitor the processing of messages and message packages.

Display an overview of all defined jobs.

Execute error and status tracking.

You have called the transaction Integration Engine - Monitoring (SXMB_MONI) and the system displays the Integration Engine: Monitoring screen.

The user account you use should be assigned to one of the Process Integration monitoring roles.
The authorizations for the individual functions are tailored to requirements and are assigned as derivations of the role SAP_XI_MONITOR. They are all based on the authorization object S_XMB_AUTH. The authorization object S_XMB_DSP controls the display of message contents. Unless the user has the authorization S_XMB_ADM (administrator), the system only displays XML messages for the current client.

Determine and evaluate all XML messages that are processed by the Integration Engine. The messages can be selected according to particular criteria and displayed for evaluation purposes. For more information, see Monitor for Processed XML Messages .

Access archived XML messages. These can also be selected according to particular criteria and displayed for evaluation purposes. There are two ways to search for archived messages: searching the archive, or performing an advanced search for messages that match specific search criteria. View the archiving and delete jobs in the Integration Engine. For more information, see Archiving and Deleting .

View the persistence layer analysis.

Display status information about persisted messages where a coupling of synchronous and asynchronous processing has occurred. For more information, see Monitor for Sync/Async Communication .
