More Information

The term SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence, the abbreviations SAP NetWeaver BI and BI and compound terms containing BI are not used in this documentation and have been replaced by appropriate terms.

SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence has been renamed. Data Warehouse and Analytic Server are both covered by the term SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW / BW). The term SAP Business Explorer refers to the suite of analysis and reporting tools and functions that is supplied with SAP NetWeaver. The terminology in the documentation has been changed accordingly. Compound terms that previously contained the abbreviation BI have been renamed appropriately, for example, BI objects > BW object and BI application > BEx application.
