The amount that is freely available to an authorized drawer of an account.
The system calculates the amount as follows:
+ account balance
- subject to final payment balance (only if the balance is positive)
+ balance of the prenotes that are subject to posting control
+ total limit amount or
- minimum deposit

The balance of the future items is contained in the account balance and is not deducted from it.
In the case of payment items transferred automatically to the system, it is possible to increase the available amount by the extra amount.
The available amount is not related to a particular key date entered. The available amount includes all posted payment items, prenotes - irrespective of their posting date or value date - and all limits that are valid on the current posting date for payment transactions.
