Purpose

This scenario has the following APIs:

·        ABAP Proxy Runtime
The ABAP proxy runtime enables programs on the Application Server ABAP to communicate with the Integration Server or point-to-point using Web services.

·        Java Proxy Runtime
The Java proxy runtime enables J2EE programs on the Application Server Java to communicate with the Integration Server.

·        Mapping API
The mapping API enables the implementation of Java mapping programs. It also contains an API for mapping lookups. For more information about the mapping API, see https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/javadocs.sdn on the SAP Developer Network (SDN user required).
