As of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 5, some Release Workbench screens have been enhanced to support the selection of assortments that are both distribution chain dependent and independent. To select assortments that are distribution chain dependent, the user can enter a set of specific sales organization and distribution channel.

Processes for the following five message types have been enhanced:

  • Location Group/Assortment

  • Assortment Product Version Optimization

  • Assortment Product Version Merchandising

  • Assortment Plan

  • Retail Purchasing Plan

Effects on System Administration

A Customizing activity (transaction UPARI_SELOP) is available to indicate whether to display or hide the Sales Organization and Distribution Channel fields on the screens.

By default, the two fields are displayed on the screens. To hide them, check the Hide Sel. checkbox for the following selection fields:

  • S42_SO (Sales Organization for message type Location Group/Assortment)

  • S42_DC (Distribution Channel for message type Location Group/Assortment)

  • S49_SO SO (Sales Organization for message type Assortment Plan)

  • S49_DC (Distribution Channel for message type Assortment Plan)

  • S44_SO (Sales Organization for message type Assortment Product Version Optimization)

  • S44_DC (Distribution Channel for message type Assortment Product Version Optimization)

  • S45_SO (Sales Organization for message type Assortment Product Version Merchandising)

  • S45_DC (Distribution Channel for message type Assortment Product Version Merchandising)

  • P70_SLOR (Sales Organization for message type Retail Purchasing Plan)

  • P70_DTCH (Distribution Channel for message type Retail Purchasing Plan)
