Data Collection Programs 

Use

The SLD data supplier collects and sends data about the current system to the SLD. To collect this data, the data supplier uses data collection programs.

Features

The following table shows the type of data that is provided by the data collection programs that are available:

_SLD_COMPSYS	Hosts
_SLD_DBSYS	Database
_SLD_INSTSC	Installed software components
_SLD_INSTSP	Installed support packages
_SLD_IPSERV	Network services
_SLD_MSGSERV	SAP message server
_SLD_RFC	RFC destinations (deactivated by default) If you want to create additional information about RFC destinations in the SLD, you can activate this data collection program.
_SLD_ASSOC	CIM associations between generated objects

Do not deactivate any of the data collection programs.

Activities

If the table does not contain any data collection programs, in transaction RZ70, choose  Transfer to manually add programs from the database.

If the current system is running on SAP R/3 release 4.5x, and you want to add programs from the database, choose  Import.
