Use

With the new release, the Export and Import functions are available in the Configuration iView. You can use these functions to move individual configuration objects or larger parts of the configuration, including all referenced configuration data, between portals. For example, this allows you to transfer the configuration from a test system to a production system.

 

Effects on the Dataset

When you start the export function, configuration objects that are otherwise hidden or used internally become visible. You cannot edit these configuration objects.

 

Effects on System Administration

After you have started the Export function, you add the required parts of the configuration to the export package. When you have added all parts to the export packages, you have to finalize the export. You receive an archive file for downloading. You can import the configuration that this file contains to another portal.
