Use

In the new release, KM notifications are integrated in the Universal Worklist (UWL).

In the initial content, the Recent NotificationsiView has been removed from the portal pages. You can now find the notifications in the Universal Worklist (in the standard configuration, at Start page ® Activities ® Overview).

Effects on the Dataset

The system uses the same data store for the KM Recent Notifications iView and for KM notifications in the universal worklist. Therefore, no action is required.

 

In the initial content, the Recent NotificationsiView has been removed from the portal pages. However, the iView template and the iView are still delivered. If you want to continue using the Recent Notifications iView, you can add it to a page again,

 

Effects on System Administration

In the KM configuration, you must also configure the Inbox Service. However, you do not have to make any changes to this configuration.
