Use

Once you have released a transport request, you can monitor its status by viewing its transport logs in Transport Organizer Web UI.

Prerequisites

      You have started the Web Dynpro application CTS_BROWSER.

More information: Starting Transport Organizer Web UI

      You have created and released a transport request in Transport Organizer Web UI.

      The request status is Released.

Note

When you display the modifiable transport requests, the Transport Logs tab page is not visible in the bottom half of the screen.

Displaying the Transport Status

Select a transport request in the top half of the screen.

The request number and its description appear as a header in the bottom half of the screen.

The Status column can display the following symbols (with descriptions):

      This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Transport request is in the import queue

      This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Export/deployment finished successfully

      This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Not yet flagged for import

      This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Import canceled

The table shows you the source system of the transport request and all target systems for which a transport route has been configured. It also shows you the target systems in which the transport request was imported using the manual forwarding function.

Displaying Transport Logs

...

       1.      Choose the Transport Logs tab page in the bottom half of the screen.

       2.      Select a (released) transport request in the top half of the screen.

The request number and its description appear as a header in the bottom half of the screen.

       3.      To display the transport log, choose the system ID of a system.

The appropriate transport log is displayed.

Note

If no transport log exists, the following message is displayed:

No transport log exists for system <SID>
