Use

In the BI Service API with Release SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (Plug-In-Basis 2005.1), a parameter has been added to the control parameters for data transfer in the SAP source system. You use this parameter to restrict the number of data packages in a delta request or when you repeat a delta request (repeat).

We recommend that you only use this restriction if you are anticipating delta requests with a large volume of data whereby more than 1000 data packages can be generated in a request, despite an appropriate data package size.

Effects on System Administration

You can override this setting for a DataSource in the scheduler in the BI system. This function is available under Scheduler ® Default DataSource Settings for Data Transfer.
