Flagging
a Transport Request as a Standard Request
If you want the system to use a default transport request for your non-ABAP application, you can flag a transport request as a standard request. The system provides one standard request for each user.
● You have created a transport request or want to create one.
● The transport request has the request status Modifiable.
There are two ways to flag a transport request as a standard request:
● When creating the transport request
In the Create Request dialog box, set the Standard Request flag.
● After creating the transport request
Select a transport request in your request list and choose Set as Standard Request.
The system flags the request as the standard request and it changes its appearance accordingly.

You can undo this flag by choosing Set as Standard Request again. The request reverts to its usual appearance. None of the requests is now flagged as a standard request.
In this case, Transport Management System (TMS) creates a transport request automatically and flags it as the standard request, provided you set the parameter WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY to Smart when you configured the source systems.

You have flagged a transport request as a standard request and you can now attach objects to this request.
