BI Accelerator Monitor

You can broadcast the results of the consistency checks of the BI accelerator (an overview of the summary and the current results) by e-mail by choosing BIA Checks ® Schedule E-Mail Notification.

In the Start Time dialog box, you can schedule the respective job for the required point in time.

The e-mail is then created and broadcast to all addresses in the RSDDTREXEMAIL table.

Global Parameters for Indexing

The default value for global indexing parameter SUBPKGSIZE has been set to 20,000.

New BI Accelerator Consistency Checks in the Analysis and Repair Environment (Transaction RSRV)

The following BI accelerator consistency checks are new:

● Check for Consistency Using Random Queries

● Verification of the Buffer Entries of the BIA Hierarchy Buffer

BI Accelerator Data Consistency Check Center

From the SAP NetWeaver BI accelerator monitor, choose Goto ® Consistency Checks to display the BI Accelerator Data Consistency Check Center screen. On this screen, you can check the data on the BI accelerator server, schedule these checks, and view the logs of checks that have already run. You can combine certain checks to form check sets.
