In SAP NetWeaver SPS 11, the following enhancement is available in the data transfer process (DTP):

An expert mode was added to simulation and debugging of a DTP request. In expert mode, you can define selections fort he simulation request. In this way you can for example debug individual data records or limit the scope and duration of the simulation for large amounts of loaded data. You can also define breakpoints for debugging and specify how and when data should be written to the buffer during processing.

You can execute these functions in the DTP maintenance and in the DTP monitor.
