In SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SPS 07, you can migrate update rules, 3.x InfoSources and transfer rules. You can generate transformations from update rules and transfer rules and generate (new) InfoSources from a 3.x InfoSource.

In the rule details, you assign an InfoObject to a source field (a DataSource). Data is read from this InfoObject.  You can use the InfoObject to read master data, currencies or units.
