With the new BIA index maintenance wizard you can create, activate, fill and delete BI accelerator indexes.

BI accelerator monitor
The functionality of the BI accelerator monitor has been enhanced in the following menus:
● Menu Goto
You can branch to other transactions from the menu entries Analysis of BI Objects, BIA Index Maintenance and TREX Administration Tool.
● Menu BI Accelerator
You can choose the following functions: Execute or schedule Index Checks, display Index Information and change the associated settings, Invalidate Dimension Function Indexes.

Checking a BI accelerator index in the analysis and repair environment (transaction RSRV)
On the Analysis and Repair of BI Objects screen (transaction RSRV), enhanced checks are available for
● testing for inconsistencies between the data in the InfoCube on the database and the data in the BI accelerator index (test in the BI Accelerator Consistency Checks area)
● testing whether a BI accelerator index is running with the most optimal performance (tests in the BI Accelerator Performance area)
● completely or partially building or rebuilding all BI accelerator indexes or a specific BI accelerator index (tests in the BI Accelerator Repair Programs area).
These checks differ in terms of their accuracy and runtimes.
