Functions in the Insert Menu
The following information provides an overview of the functions provided in the Insert menu in the menu bar for the Report Designer.
You can choose from the following functions in the Insert menu:

Page Header
|
You use this function to insert a page header into the report, which you can then change according to your needs. |
Page Footer
|
You use this function to insert a page footer into the report, which you can then change according to your needs. |
Report Section
|
You use this function to insert a report section into the report. The inserted report section has no data binding. |
Custom Text |
You use this function to insert a custom text into a cell of the report. In the Properties screen area, you can specify whether the custom text is to be language-independent or language-dependent. Language-dependent texts are stored in the BEx texts table. They can be translated and reused. |
Image |
You use this function to insert images or logos from the MIME Repository into reports. In the Properties screen area, you can also specify the properties for the image (such as the size). For more information about including images, see Inserting Images into Reports. |
Chart |
You use this function to insert charts into reports. You can decide whether to have the chart display the entire data provider assigned to it or to make the chart context-sensitive, so that it just displays a section of the data provider.
