What You Need to Know...

Configuring EP UME with AS ABAP Data Source

With this process, you define during the installation of the Enterprise Portal that the UME uses the user data of the CUA central system.

Configuring Dual Stack UME with AS-ABAP Dual-Stack Data Source

With this process, you define during the dual stack installation of the AS Java that the dual stack UME uses the user data of the AS ABAP dual stack.

Setting Up Central User Administration

With this process, you set up the central administration of the user data of all AS ABAP systems in your system landscape.

Maintaining Portal Roles

With this process, you prepare the roles for the users in the Enterprise Portal.

Create Roles to Be Used in the Portal

In this process, you create the roles for the AS ABAP system with which the portal users later access the AS ABAP system from the portal.

Creating Users and Assigning Roles in CUA and Testing

In this process, you create users in the CUA central system and assign roles to them.
