Change Context

Use

A set of context parameters in the Knowledge Warehouse specifies the versions of information objects that you can access for display and editing.

Integration

When you use a certain type of information object display (DynamicHelp), these context parameters, e.g. the release of the SAP System used, are also effective in the display: they determine the information object version to be displayed at runtime.

Features

You can define the following context parameters for the version selection in the Knowledge Warehouse:

language of the content objects
target language of the content objects (in processing mode Translate)
SAP System release which the information objects describe
country for which the information objects are valid

name and release of the enhancement (e.g. for an industry solution) to which the documents refer.

Note

Choose the enhancement name and release from a list of existing enhancements and enhancement releases.

To display all existing enhancements in the Enhancement field, you must first delete the entry in the Release field.

Activities

To change the context choose Settings ® Change context.

The following options are presented in the dialog box Enter context:

To go to a different processing mode, choose Processing Mode Change or Processing Mode Translate.
In Translate mode the target language is shown as well as the source language.
To set an enhancement context, choose Show Enhancement. To go back to the standard context, choose Hide Enhancement.
To show or hide the country, choose Show/Hide Country.
