Use

The Status attribute defines the processing status of an information object. It is maintained by authors and translators.

In processing mode Change, this attribute shows the processing status of an information object in the original language.

Features

There are the following info object statuses:

Status

Meaning

Migrated

Information object (IO) has been migrated to the Knowledge Warehouse and has not been changed.

Editing

IO has not yet been released in the current context for translation and delivery. It is not accessible for translation.

This status is set automatically when an information object is checked out.

It can also be set manually.

For release

This status is displayed when the authorization procedure is activated.

IO was planned for release in the current context.

This status is set manually when the author has completed work.

This information object appears automatically in the Business Workflow inbox of the approving person.

The approving person can set Released or Not Released status.

Not released

This status is displayed when the authorization procedure is activated.

The author must revise the info object.

This status is set manually when the approving person has completed work.

This information object appears automatically in the Business Workflow inbox of the person responsible for the folder.

Released

IO has been released in the current context for translation and delivery.

This status is set manually when the author or the approving person has completed work.

This information object then appears automatically for translation. A translation status specifying if the information object is new (translation status: new) or has been changed (translation status: to be translated

Copy Editing

IO is being copy edited.

This status is set manually.

If the copy editing procedure is activated, the information object is sent to the copy editor via the Business Workflow. Otherwise this status is only for documentation purposes.

The copy editor can set Released or Resubmit status.

Resubmit

This status is displayed when the copy editing procedure is activated.

IO has not been copy edited.

This status is set manually if the copy editor did not check the information object.

This information object appears automatically in the Business Workflow inbox of the person responsible for the folder.

Review

IO is being reviewed.

This status is set manually and is only for documentation purposes.
