Info Object Classes in the XML
Documents Area
The following info object classes can be used for creating XML-based training material:

In the XML documents area, the source format (editing format) for content objects is always XML. The presentation format is controlled by the output parameters on publication. (Note: This only applies to media objects.)
· Course ( XML_COURSE)
Courses are content objects that describe the entire structure of a training course.
· Lesson ( XML_LESSON)
Lessons are content objects that are part of a training course and which contain the material to be taught.
· Exercise ( XML_EXERSE)
Exercises are content objects that help to reinforce what the course participants have learned from the lessons.
· XML object ( XML_OBJECT)
XML objects are content objects that are in XML format but whose structure does not correspond to SAP’s Document Type Definition.
· Media object ( XML_GEN)
Media objects are normally graphics that can be inserted to illustrate material in courses, exercises, and solutions. They are usually in a graphic format (such as JPG) and can therefore be edited with any graphic application.

The source files for the graphics are available in Microsoft PowerPoint format from the training-related content updates for the XML documents area. The graphic files were originally generated from these files. You can therefore also edit the source files in Microsoft PowerPoint and then convert them manually into the graphic format for inclusion in XML documents.
Note: In contrast to the other areas in SAP KW, the XML documents area does not contain info object class structures because the structure of an XML document in SAP KW is predefined by the corresponding Document Type Definition (or by the SAP course DTD for training material).
