Reading a Translation Package 

Use

This procedure reimports the translated info objects in the translation packages.

Prerequisites

You are in the initial screen of SAP KW in processing mode Translate.

You have cleaned up and checked the translation packages that you translated with the TRADOS Translator's Workbench.

Procedure

If you have not completely translated your translation package with the TRADOS Translator's Workbench, reset the checkout for the info objects that you have not translated.

The translation package is imported without the info objects that were not translated. The translation status is reset to its status prior to check-out (New or To be translated) for the info objects that were not translated.

If you have not completely translated the translation package with Microsoft Word, the revision marks are lost during check-in.

To read in a translation package:

...

       1.      Choose Folder ® Translation package ® Read.

The KXF File dialog box appears:

       2.      Go to the directory where you stored your translation package.

       3.      Select the file Trans.kxf and choose Save.

Confirm the information about the translation package.

Result

The translation package was read in.

The translation status for the translated info objects is set to Translated.
