Working with the SAP System

You can use the functions provided in the SAP System of SAP KW.

Prerequisites

You need an authorization in the SAP System of SAP KW.

Features

The SAP KW System provides the following functions:

·        Manage folders

¡        Create and delete folders

¡        Organize the Favorites

¡        Display and change folder attributes

¡        Display the information objects of chosen folders in an info object list

·        Maintain info objects

¡        Create and delete information objects

¡        Change info objects online

·        Maintain info object attributes

¡        Display and change info object attributes (for example, status or person responsible)

¡        Maintain index entries created in the terminology database.

·        Version management for info objects

¡        Display individual versions

¡        Create new versions based on previous versions

·        Maintain help links

¡        Create, change and delete the link between Repository objects and information objects

·        Check info objects

¡        Quality assurance checks (for example, check if the target object called with a hyperlink exists)

·        Display info objects in the preview and in the Web Browser

·        Create printable versions of structures in Microsoft Word format

·        Create offline presentations in the Training area.
