Work with SAP BI Systems
Use
The BI Extension Kit in Visual Composer allows you to access many features in conjunction with SAP BI systems (BW systems 3.5 and higher).
Prerequisites
● You have access to an SAP BI system (SAP NetWeaver 2004 SP Stack 14 or greater), and it is configured to connect via the SAP BI Connector in the portal landscape. See Defining Portal Systems and Aliases in the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer Installation & Configuration Guide.
Earlier SAP BI systems (BW systems 3.1C or higher) configured to connect via the BI XMLA Connector can still work with Visual Composer and are defined as OLAP systems. You can access these systems on the Find Data Services task panel or in the BI Integration Wizard (see Use the BI Integration Wizard).
● You may only deploy models created using SAP BI system functionality to Adobe Flash format. To check that your runtime is set to Flash: from the Visual Composer main menu, choose Tools ® Options. Select the Compiler tab, and from the Runtime dropdown box, select Flash.
