Use

You can transport the contents of a Knowledge Warehouse system to another Knowledge Warehouse system.

New information objects and revised information objects with Released status are automatically included in a transport request.

Depending on the Customizing setting, the transport requests are created as follows:

The transports are performed folder by folder. If there is no transport request for a folder, the request is automatically created.

When you release an information object, you are asked about the transport request.

The request owner is the person responsible for the folder. The person responsible for the released information objects is assigned a task within the request.

The owner of the task releases the task and the owner of the request releases the request.

The consolidation system therefore only contains the transported information objects that can be made public.

Transporting the information objects to the consolidation system also provides the transported information objects for the static help formats.

Integration

Only the information objects that are in a delivery-relevant folder and that have been transported to the consolidation system are delivered.

Prerequisites

The information object must have the status Released.

Activities

The released information objects are included in a change request.

You must release this change request.

The released change request is transported to the appropriate Knowledge Warehouse System by the system administrator.
