Procedure documentation Checking Out Information Objects Changeably  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You want to check out several information objects at a time without editing them immediately.

Prerequisites

You have opened the Info Object List of the folder containing the information objects that should be checked out.

The information objects are not currently checked out changeably by another user.

Procedure

  1. Choose the information objects you want to check out (use Shift or Ctrl).
  2. Choose Info Object ® Check out ® To Change

Result

The selected information objects are checked out and stored in a local context on the PC.

You can now edit the information objects even without a link to the Knowledge Warehouse.
