Use

If you started the search for information objects in the background, you can display the results.

Since the search results are stored under the name you specified, you can still use them.

Prerequisites

The search for information objects was started in the background.

Procedure

To display the results of the search:

  1. In the initial screen, choose Utilities ® Find ® Display search result for info objects.

    2. The Read Search Result dialog box appears.

  2. If you stored the search results as user-specific, select User-specific. Otherwise you have access only to user-independent search results.
  3. Enter the name under which you stored the search results.

    4. Note

    All the search results are displayed when you choose the value help.

    Click on the search result you want to copy.

  4. Start reading the search results.

Result

The results of the search are displayed in an Info Object List. You can continue editing the information objects from this list.

Note

An Info Object List created by a search and saved is static: it only contains information objects that correspond to the search when it was made.
