Publishing in the Portal
When publishing in the Portal in the BEx Web Application Designer, the portal roles assigned to the user and the personal folders in Knowledge Management are displayed.
To get this personalized information from the portal in the BEx Web Application Designer, the user in the BI system has to be assigned a user in the portal. Assignment is not necessary if the technical user name in the portal and that in BI are identical. After assignment, authentication of the portal user must be made. Authentication takes place using the BI ticket that the BEx Web Application Designer receives during explicit logon. The portal requires the BI certificate to validate the BI tickets.
