Definition

Repository managers from SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence enable you to integrate documents and automatically generated metadata documents that are stored on the BI server into Knowledge Management (KM) of SAP Enterprise Portal. They also enable you to access these documents. The following repository managers are available:

●     BI Document Repository Manager

●     BI Metadata Repository Manager

The BI Document Repository Manager is required to migrate documents from the BI server to the storage of the portal (CM repository). Once the migration is complete, the BI Document Repository Manager is no longer required.

The BI Metadata Repository Manager integrates documents from the BI system as write-protected documents in KM. The BI Metadata Repository Manager can be used after migration to access generated metadata documents.
