Use

SAP KW Viewer is an application for viewing offline presentations of individual training courses on Windows 32-bit PCs. You need SAP KW Viewer if you want to present a training course in a system environment where you do not have access to the SAP system of SAP KW. You may also want to use SAP KW Viewer for regular presentations of a consolidated version of a training course.

Integration

You can create offline presentations with the SAP system of SAP KW.

Prerequisites

SAP KW Viewer must be installed on the PC on which you want to display the offline presentation.

Features

The SAP KW Viewer presentation tool has a menu bar and a split-screen window for displaying info objects.

Structure Navigation

In the left part of the split-screen window, the course structure is displayed as a tree, the nodes of which can be expanded and compressed.

Slides are represented in the structure as blue-yellow slide symbols. All other content objects appear as document symbols with horizontal lines. Slides with notes are depicted as slide icons that are partially covered by document icons.

You can navigate in the presentation by:

·        Clicking on nodes in the structure

·        Clicking on the Next or the Previous button in the standard toolbar (or by using the Up and Down arrow keys)

·        Clicking on the History Next or the History Previous button in the standard toolbar to go through the chronological sequence of nodes you have viewed

The content object currently displayed is marked in the structure by a red dot next to the structure node.

Display of Content Objects

The content objects are displayed in the right-hand pane of the split-screen window. Slides are always displayed here. Other content objects, such as exercises and solutions, videos, or ScreenCams, are only displayed in the content pane if they appear as nodes in the course structure. If they are referenced by hyperlinks, these content objects are displayed in a separate window.

Note

If a video is displayed in the content pane, use the Play toolbar to start and stop the video. To show (or hide) this toolbar, choose View ® Toolbars ® Play.

To open (or close) the window for displaying the notes that are associated with slides, navigate to a slide with notes and choose View ® Notes.

To view the presentation in full-screen mode, choose View ® Full Screen. Course structures are not visible in full-screen mode. Use the PgUp and PgDn keys to step through the presentation. Press ESC to return to normal mode.

To run the presentation automatically, choose View  ® Auto run, and specify the time interval between successive slides.
