Procedure documentation Exporting a Training Unit  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can chose your own PowerPoint presentations using the exported training unit.

Prerequisites

You are in the Knowledge Workbench.

A training unit only has one sublevel.

Procedure

To export a unit:

  1. In the Knowledge Warehouse choose the structure that contains the unit to be exported.
  2. Choose Info Object ® Display Maintenance Format.

    3. The structure is checked out for display and stored in the Local Repository. Then it is opened write protected in the Structure Editor.

  3. Position the cursor on the first slide of the training unit.
  4. Choose Info Object ® Export Unit to Local File System.

    5. A dialog box appears in which you can enter the path where you can store the unit as a PowerPoint file.

  5. Set the path.
  6. Enter the name of a file and choose Save.

Result

The unit is exported and stored in the entered path as a PowerPoint file.

The individual objects are checked out for display and stored in the Local Repository.
