As of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 5, you can use the following enhancements in the Retail Method of Accounting (RMA) solution:

  • Support of cycle counts

  • Configuration check reports

Cycle counts are supported in a way that other than inventory differences from regular physical inventories, they can be included in the RMA stock ledger as a separate bucket without triggering the resolution of planned shrinkage. This applies to cycle counts based on ABC analysis, and to ad hoc cycle counts, which have to be marked as such by means of implementing a Business Add-In.

New check reports in SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse and in ERP allow you to check the consistency of the settings for RMA in a comprehensive manner before starting to use the system.
