In the Collaboration configuration, you can hide SAP standard templates (templates with a technical name starting with SAP). Depending on the setting, the hidden templates are no longer visible in the following places:

●      Selection list of room templates when creating a room

●      Selection list of room templates when adding a room part to a room

●      Template filter in the room directory

It makes sense to hide the SAP room templates if you have created copies based on the SAP room templates and tailored them to your company’s requirements. In this case, you generally should not use the original templates delivered by SAP.

In the portal, you complete the required configuration at: System Administration ® System Configuration ® Knowledge Management ® Collaboration. Switch on the extended options and choose Room and Room Part Templates. You can now activate the required options for hiding templates.
