Use

The TREX admin tool in the SAP system has been enhanced. The most important new features are:

●      Display of the distribution of indexes and queues

In the case of distributed TREX system, you can see how the indexes are distributed among the index servers and the index replication status. In addition, you can see the distribution of the queues among the queue servers.

●      Index information

For example, you can see the time of the last indexing, the number of searchable documents, and the disk space taken up by the index. For split indexes, a tree structure displays which parts they comprise. For HPA indexes and business object indexes, the information displayed includes the view attributes, join condition, join paths, and key figures.

●      Server-related information

You receive detailed information about the load on the TREX servers. A table displays the CPU and main memory consumption for the TREX servers and the response times.

●      RFC Connection

When TREX is connected to an SAP system, the systems communicate through an RFC connection. The TREX admin tool shows whether the connection from within the SAP system works.
