Copying Information Objects Within a Structure

Prerequisites

You are in the Knowledge Workbench.

The structure is open in the Structure Editor.

Procedure

To copy information objects within a structure:

Choose the information objects to be copied.

If you want to copy an information object, choose it in the left frame of the Structure Editor.

If you want to copy more than one information object, choose them in the right frame of the Structure Editor.

Choose Edit ® Copy.
Place the cursor within the structure in the left frame of the Structure Editor.
Choose Edit ® Paste.

A dialog box appears with the following entries:

Before the Currently Selected Node

After the Currently Selected Node

As First Subnode of the Currently Selected Node

As Last Subnode of the Currently Selected Node

Choose an entry.

Result

The information object is copied and inserted at the chosen position in the structure.

Note

Only references to the information objects are inserted. No physical copies of the information objects are created.
