Releasing Software Changes and Quality Management 

The SAP system provides you with several options for intervening in the transport process to ensure the quality of software changes:

       1.      The CTS authorization concept enables you to configure the Transport Organizer so that only the project manager can release change requests for export.

       2.      The Transport Management System (TMS) includes TMS Quality Assurance. This feature enables project managers to define different quality assurance steps for checking and monitoring the release of program changes.

       3.      Before the final import into the production system, the transport administrator can again prevent waiting change requests from being imported, if their quality cannot be guaranteed.
