Use

With Release SAP MI 2.5 Support Package Stack 04, administrators and users have new options for synchronization:

·        The new data carrier synchronization with CD, DVD, memory stick or diskette replaces synchronization with diskette and offers further options. The administrator must configure this option, see Setting Up Data Carrier Synchronization.

·        Repetitive synchronization enables you to repeat the data transfer until the data requested by the mobile device has been completely transferred to the mobile device. This is especially relevant for data that must first be edited on the server before being transferred. The administrator must configure this option. For more information see Configuring Repetitive Synchronization.

·        If the synchronization link is not stable enough, users of the mobile device can transfer their data in individual packages. If the connection breaks during synchronization and you need to synchronize again, only the packages that did not arrive completely in the target system are transferred.
