Use

This procedure enables you to connect the Visual Administrator tool to the J2EE Engine using either a new connection entry or an already configured one.

Procedure

Start the Visual Administrator tool. If the connection dialog does not appear, then choose Connect ® Login from the menu path.

Managing the Connection Dialog

Select a connection entry from the list of connections and choose Connect. You can also perform the following operations over the connection entries:

Create a new connection entry

Edit a configured connection entry

Select the entry and choose Edit.

Note

You cannot edit the default connection entries.

Delete an entry

Select the entry and choose Delete.

Note

You cannot delete the default connection entries.

Managing the Login Dialog

       1.      Specify the password for the user you have chosen for connecting to the J2EE Engine.

       2.      Choose Connect.

Result

You can now use the resources on it according to the restrictions that are applied to the user identity you used to log on.
