Use

You can save a model as a GML (Generic Modeling Language) file so that it can subsequently be imported into a different Visual Composer Storyboard (or saved in case the Storyboard in which it was created is uninstalled). Subsequently, you can import the exported model into the Storyboard in which you are working

 

Procedures

To export a model:

...

       1.      Choose Tools ® Export/Import. The Export/Import dialog box appears.

       2.      In the Look in field, check that the path indicates the directory of the currently opened Storyboard.

       3.      To password-protect the model (optional), type a password in the Password field.

       4.      In the File field, enter a name for the model to be exported.

       5.      Click Export.

       6.      In the Confirmation dialog box, click Yes. The file is saved in the Storyboard directory on the Visual Composer server, located at the following location:
. . . \inetpub\wwwroot\SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer\data\~export.

       7.      You can copy this folder to another location on your computer, as needed.

 

To import an exported model:

...

...

       1.      From a new or existing model, choose Tools ® Export/Import. The Export/Import dialog box appears.

       2.      In the Look in field, choose the path of the Storyboard from which you want to import the model.

       3.      From the list, choose the name of the file; its name will be displayed in the File field.

       4.      If the model is password-protected, type the password in the Password field.

       5.      Click Import.
